I thought his name was Kevin...

No, his name is Gus. Or Ollie. Or Joe.

Or even Mark Smithbauer. Or Curtis. Or Newbie. Or Billy.

But mostly this is, I think, going to end up being a category where characters played by Paul, or Callum, or Hugh are slashed with other characters played by Callum, or Hugh, or Paul. I'm working on one now, in fact. Well, two, if you count the Mark and Oz ginormity.

Stories

. : WiPs

Une vie moins ordinaire, a (damn long) sequel to Chansons de marin (Gus Knickel/Johnny Jóhannsson). Buried on Sunday/My Life as a Dog crossover.

Of fire and roof, a Mark Smithbauer/Daniel Osborne due South/Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover. Denise Raymond is writing Oz; Mark's commenting from my brain.

. : May 2000

Shadows Fade with Kellie Matthews, a sequel to her Billy/Fraser story Northern Comfort. (Brian/Billy, 724K [no, that's not a misprint and yes, it's all my fault. Kellie has the patience of a saint]. Kellie-the-amazingly-generous allowed me to mess around with her take on Billy Tallent in this Hard Core Logo/Tales of the City crossover. Billy Tallent meets Brian Hawkins (as played by, of course, Paul Gross) shortly after the events of Northern Comfort and No Secrets and, of course, the reunion tour as documented in Hard Core Logo. Sparks ensue. AU, but only because some of the dates had to be shifted back in Northern Comfort to make it work with the due South timeline.

. : Jun 2000

Last Point of Entry (Joe/Billy). 73K. Don't read this unless you've seen the film because it won't make sense otherwise. A missing scene (yeah, yeah, yeah) from the impeccable Bruce McDonald film Hard Core Logo. It was in the back of my head for a couple months; then Kellie kind of put the lid on when she said, "No one could make me believe this." Well. Gasoline on a flame, in my fucked up head, you know? So... Joe started talking. It was weird. Little scary. Okay, a lot scary. (And, look, Ma - no REM song title! No. It's a line from a Headstones song. Uh oh...) ( PDF version)

. : Nov 2000

Monochrome Delirious (Joe/Billy) 35K. Picks up and expands a flashback from Last Point of Entry although it's a stand-alone. I thought they were through with me. Evidently not.

. : Jul 2001

Missing Pieces, Mark/Fraser. This is set in the Strange Loops universe and takes place before the events of that story. It's a spoiler for StrL but, hey, you've obviously found this so. Whatever.

. : Sep 2001

The Distance Between (Joe/Fraser) 84k, PDF format. Set after the episode Victoria's Secret and before Hard Core Logo... 'nuff said. Too much, maybe. (HTML version)

. : Aug 2005

Chansons de marin (Gus/Johnny) 116k. Buried on Sunday/My Life As A Dog crossover, written for midsummer_fic on LJ.

. : Jul 2006

Wide Open Space (Alex/Christy). Getting Married in Buffalo Jump/Paris or Somewhere crossover, written with Kellie Matthews for midsummer_fic on LJ.
